Omar Hyder, MD received his medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University before completing a year of electrophysiology and basic science research at the Cardiovascular Research Center at Rhode Island Hospital. He completed his internal medicine residency and general cardiology fellowship at Rhode Island and The Miriam hospitals. Dr. Hyder enhanced his medical background through fellowships in both interventional and peripheral endovascular medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Hyder’s clinical interests include treatment of complex coronary artery disease, carotid stenting, peripheral vascular interventions, and venous disease. In addition to performing procedures at Rhode Island and The Miriam hospitals, Dr. Hyder also practices at the Cardiovascular Institute’s East Greenwich and East Providence locations.
