Substance Use Disorders Treatment at Gateway Healthcare
Gateway provides high-quality, integrated co-occurring (substance use and behavioral health) treatment services for our clients in the least restrictive environment that stresses harm reduction and continuous improvement.

- Substance Use Outpatient Counseling
- Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services
- Peer Recovery Coaching
- Pharmacological and Medically Assisted Treatment
Related programs include:
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Gateway IOP services provide intensive clinical interventions three hours/day for least 3 days/week. During the program, clients participate in individual therapy, group counseling, family counseling, psychoeducation session, and pharmacological treatment as recommended.
Driver Re-Training Program
Gateway is a DMV-approved provider of court-imposed alcohol education retraining for individuals who have been charged with a DUI in Rhode Island. Successful completion of the program results in reinstatement of the individual’s driver’s license.
