What to Expect at Your Appointment
During these clinic sessions, you or your child will meet with multiple health care providers including, but not limited to, physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, registered dieticians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and licensed clinical social workers. Please anticipate that to deliver comprehensive care, these appointments typically take 1.5-2 hours. Snacks and pancreatic enzymes are encouraged.
Because cystic fibrosis is complicated by germs that can pass between patients, we urge all patients to wear a mask once inside the hospital. We can provide a mask for you to take home to wear on your next visit.
