Luisa Skoble, MD

Luisa Skoble, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist with Lifespan Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.

Prior to joining Lifespan, she was the lead psychiatrist in Westerly Hospital’s inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit, the senior psychiatrist at the VA Providence Health care system, and the chief psychiatrist of Butler Hospital’s senior treatment unit. In addition, she served as a physician in the United States Navy.

Dr. Skoble has presented at numerous conferences and collaborated on medical research published in academic journals.

She earned a medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. She completed an internship at Saint Vincent's Hospital and the Medical Center of New York and a psychiatry residency and a geriatric psychiatry fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Dr. Skoble is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry, and the American Geriatrics Society.
