Kathy Parker, APRN is a nurse practitioner at Brown Health Medical Group Urgent Care and specializes in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care and occupational health.
In addition to her role at Brown University Health, Parker runs her own primary care practice, serves as an adjunct professor of nursing for numerous schools, and works on the medical staff at Kent County Hospital.
Before joining Brown University Health, she worked on the medical staff at Care New England. She was recognized as a top nurse practitioner by Rhode Island Monthly.
She earned bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from the University of Rhode Island.
She is a member of the Rhode Island State Nurses Association with ten years spent as president of its Nurse Practitioner Council, the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Rhode Island, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
