David Ahern, PhD

David  Ahern, PhD is a staff neuropsychologist and clinical assistant professor of psychiatry and human behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. His time is divided between clinical care, such as diagnostic evaluations, and research. His clinical interests include cognition in aging populations, dementia, brain injuries, and other relationships between neurological conditions and cognitive and behavioral functioning. His research interests include reducing diagnostic error, improving the efficiency of clinical assessment, and the forensic applications of neuropsychology. He completed his graduate work at the University of Rhode Island, then his clinical residency and fellowship at Brown University.
