http://www.childrenseye.comWith more than 20 years of experience, D. Robbins Tien, MD specializes exclusively in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases of children, as well as eye muscle disorders (strabismus) in adults, particularly surgical treatment.
Dr. Tien has an international reputation, and has been an invited speaker nationally and internationally. His lecture topics have included innovative surgical techniques for the treatment of misaligned eyes, childhood tear duct abnormalities and childhood cataracts. Published research includes major studies on treatment of lazy eye (amblyopia), nasolacrimal duct obstruction, and ocular misalignment. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Among other honors, he received their honor award in 2012 for contributions to pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus.
