Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.

Alison Manning, MD
Alison Manning, MD, is a psychiatrist at Hasbro Children's and Bradley hospitals.
Dr. Manning earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed the Triple Board combined training program in pediatrics, psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry at Brown University.
Dr. Manning is board certified in pediatrics, adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
Prior to joining Brown University Health, she worked as the medical director of the pediatric psychiatry consultation liaison service at Duke Children’s Hospital. She was promoted to assistant professor at Duke University School of Medicine in 2020.
Her research interests include peer mentorship and health coaching for youth with chronic conditions, improving healthcare transitions for youth with chronic physical illness, enhancing access to behavioral healthcare, and graduate medical education. She currently serves as the clinical director for the Pediatric Psychiatry Resource Network (PediPRN).
