Kellie Armstrong, MSN, RN, FASMBS-IH, CBN, is the program manager of the Center for Bariatric Surgery at The Miriam Hospital. She is an Integrated Health Section president elect and a member of the board of directors for the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). Armstrong received her bachelor of science in nursing from Rhode Island College and her master of science in nursing from the University of Rhode Island. She is certified in nursing administration and the disease process of obesity.
As program manager, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the bariatric surgery program and serves as liaison and care coordinator among the hospital, surgical program, and other aspects of the bariatric surgery program.
