Brianna Girardi, MS, CCRP, is the finance manager for the Lifespan Office of Cancer Research at the Lifespan Cancer Institute. She manages the department's research finances and oversees the finance team, including he clinical research financial analysts and research administrators.
Girardi began her career in the pathology laboratory at The Miriam Hospital in 2013 and received exposure to most disease groups in oncology when she transitioned to a clinical research assistant at Rhode Island Hospital in 2016. Her primary focus and experience are hematology-oncology clinical trials in both adult and pediatric settings. She has experience in regulatory compliance, project management, and financial experience in federal, philanthropic and clinical trial grants.
She received her bachelor of science degree at the University of Rhode Island, master’s degree at Salve Regina University, and holds a professional certification in clinical research from the Society of Clinical Research Associates. Additionally, Brianna co-chairs the Society of Clinical Research Associates chapter in Rhode Island.
