Hasbro Children’s Hospital announced its 2023 Brite Lite award winners at a ceremony held earlier this week in the hospital’s Balise Healing Garden. Recipients are Lifespan employees nominated by Hasbro Children’s Hospital patients and their families for their dedication and compassion shown to pediatric patients under their care.
The 2023 Brite Lites winners, selected from among more than 60 nominations, are:
• Jennifer Bairos, BSN, RN, of East Providence, RI, 4th floor, Hasbro Children’s Hospital
• Laura Moynihan, LICSW, of Providence, RI, pediatric social work, Hasbro Children’s Hospital
• Melinda Pacheco, ADN, RN, of Warwick, RI, 6th floor, Hasbro Children’s Hospital
• Nancy Pires, BSN, RN, CCRN, of East Providence, RI, pediatric intensive care unit, Hasbro Children’s Hospital
• Jessica Pratas, LICSW, of Cranston, RI, pediatric social work, Hasbro Children’s Hospital

The Brite Lite employee recognition program started more than 20 years ago. It spotlights five employees who have excelled in their everyday duties to make patients and families they care for feel safe, important, and well cared for.
