Krisztina Moldovan, MD, a cerebrovascular surgeon with the Norman Prince Spine Institute, sees patients at the Comprehensive Stroke Center, and is co-director of endovascular surgery at Rhode Island Hospital. In addition, Dr. Moldavan is director of the neuroendovascular fellowship program and an assistant professor of neurosurgery at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Moldovan completed her medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and residency in neurosurgery at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Her fellowship was in neuroendovascular surgery, which she pursued at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Her professional memberships include the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and the American Medical Association. She has co-authored many research articles for peer-reviewed journals and co-presented at consecutive annual scientific meetings of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.

As a resident leader and mentor, Dr. Moldovan has taught at Brown University, and served as an adjunct clinical assistant professor with the Bryant University Physician Assistant Program.
