What Kind of Laser Is Used in Aesthetic Surgery?

The Brown University Health Aesthetic Surgery and Laser Center uses different types of lasers to address different skin concerns and conditions. Some types of lasers that we utilize include intense pulse light and CO2 laser. The lasers have different wavelengths that allow us to target certain areas of concerns such as pigmentation, hair, and redness.

Our office is also an official distributor of medical grade skincare lines, including Obagi, Alastin, eltaMD, and Skinbetter Science. Many of these products contain premium ingredients at higher concentrations that penetrate deeper into the skin thereby helping treat and prevent skin conditions better than over the counter skin care products.
